Wild Aged Cambodian - Dara ដារា (5+ years)

Fruity, Apricots, figs, leathery, bark, hay. Alive... It reminds me of walking into deep jungle right after rain, when the ground's still soft and everything smells like it's decomposing and growing at the same time. Heavy air. A little dangerous in a good way.

There's also something of an old spice market in the oud. You know, sacks of dried tamarind piled up, black pepper dust in the air, ever so slight. Smell that gets into your clothes and doesn't leave. Underneath that you get the raisins, dried, like it has left out in the sun too long.

There is a slight bit of barn, but ever so. So light that it won't turn away people new to oud. But enough so that there's this ferality to the oil. It develops when on the skin. Watch how it morphs into something else. Something animalic. ;)
